2.       The role

At Blixx Gaming Ltd, we’re on the hunt for a forward-thinking Accountant who can drive financial excellence and strategic growth in our innovative gaming environment. The Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of Blixx Gaming Ltd. This position offers a diverse scope, encompassing key areas of accounting for our B2C gaming operations to ensure seamless day-to-day processes. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with a knack for turning financial insights into actionable strategies.

3. The responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day operations ensuring timely and accurate inputs and outputs
  • Perform the month-end closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting
  • Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and other tax-related filings
  • Process supplier invoices from receipt of invoice up until payment
  • Carry out cost analysis, general ledger reconciliation, and other accounting duties
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports to support monthly management accounts
  • Assist in annual statutory audits and liaise with external auditors
  • Assist with operational and administrative tasks as needed

4. Skills, Competences, knowledge and qualifications

  • Actively pursuing or in possession of a degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (professional qualifications like ACCA/ACA/CPA are a plus)
  • Prior experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Business central, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and tax regulations
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
  • Interest or experience in iGaming
