The role
The Front-End Developer at Blixx has a strong mobile focus, they would be responsible for building and optimising responsive, high-performance mobile experiences for our players. From engaging casino lobbies to real-time and innovative casino interfaces, the Front-End developers at Blixx have a direct impact on the player journey.
This role is ideal for someone who has passion for UIs, writing clean, maintainable code, and pushing the boundaries of mobile web performance
Responsibilities
- Develop, optimise, and maintain mobile-first front-end features for our all our casino brands
- Implement responsive designs and smooth user interactions across devices and browsers.
- Collaborate closely with various internal and external stakeholders to deliver engaging player experiences through user-friendly brands
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code using modern front-end frameworks where necessary
- Monitor, debug, and improve performance for mobile users.
- Stay up to date with emerging front-end and mobile web technologies.
- Be hands on and work hands to hands with the Product team as well as other departments across Blixx.
- Actively participate into knowledge sharing and pair programming ensuring in house knowledge and expertise are of high standards
- Contribute to various initiatives supporting brands optimisation for our internal operations as well as continuously suggest technical improvement in view of providing our players the best experience
- Document new features in a way where it is easy for non-technical users to understand
- Actively participate in stand-ups and other Product related meetings
- Act as a Blixx culture ambassador, by leading and living Blixx Core values at all times
Requirements:
- At least 3 years experience as FE developer
- Proven experience developing mobile-first web applications
- Familiar with performance optimisation and trend for mobile devices
